My Story

I help immigrant families and entrepreneurs find their footing in Canada — because I've been exactly where you are.

I'm a serial entrepreneur, and I've never learned any other way than by doing. Every business I've built has taught me something new — and every lesson gets pointed toward the same goal: sparking an entrepreneurial revolution among immigrants in Canada.

It started in 2018 with CSDC, built to help newcomers navigate careers in Canada. It's since grown into a trusted name, guiding over 7,000 clients — and along the way, I became a certified First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor through Rescue 7 Inc., so CSDC could offer WSIB-recognized safety training to newcomers, healthcare professionals, and workplace teams across Ontario.

In 2019, that same instinct to build led me to launch Legato School of Music, teaching violin and piano across the GTA. My son Edmund was our first student. What began as a small studio has grown into a full musical home — with its own instrument rental store and a strings orchestra where beginners practice and perform, now serving as the official feeder school for the Music4Life String Orchestra in Ajax.

Being named to the Forbes Business Council opened another door — a global network of leaders whose insight I bring straight back to the newcomer entrepreneurs I mentor.

And because I believe every lesson deserves to be shared, I run two YouTube channels: Immigrant Tales, telling the real stories of newcomer entrepreneurs, and Bijo Sebastian Media, covering the everyday news — employment, politics, weather, education, and local networking — that newcomer communities need.
